About the Program
Socurio is the premiere platform for student artists to further develop their artistic skills personally and professionally in order to advance their artistic careers.
Socurio offers the opportunity for art students actively enrolled in accredited BFA and MFA visual art programs to join the online community. SocurioU members will have all the same benefits of regular membership as well as be eligible for additional promotions, including the SocurioU Scholarship, a community powered competition promoting artistic creativity.
We are very excited about the next generation of artists and understands that providing them with the exposure and tools to succeed are a necessary component to the future of the art world.
Eligibility
SocurioU members must currently be enrolled full-time in a College or University and possess a valid .edu email address.
SocurioU Scholarship Competition
The SocurioU competition spotlights and awards SocurioU artists poised for promising careers. The Scholarship is awarded to artists who meet the socurioU guidelines and demonstrate artistic excellence, innovation, unique vision and commitment to their art and the Socurio Community.
The competition is to be announced in early Spring 2010.
