My visual work is an important part of the integration process of the technical and scientific information my left-brain consumes and which my right-brain imagines ways of expressing creatively as a tactile object to be further contemplated. Therefore, it is of deep intrinsic value to my own process of individuation, which others can view and experience in physical space. I'm not trying to put ideas into the painting. I'm wanting to discover and discern the idea that comes through the painting. It is as though a veil is lifted, even for a moment, and we see or feel or sense that which is beyond our reasoning and beyond ourselves.
