Artist Barbara Fletcher is a sculptor of paper and mixed media materials. While working mostly with figurative and animal themes her exploration also includes abstract design. Barbara’s sculptures reflect the humor she sees all around her, particularly in the natural world. She completed a commission of fantasy sculpture for writer Stephen King while living in Maine in the mid. After moving to Boston, her art was shown in numerous galleries and museums including The DeCordova Museum, The Danforth Museum and a one person show at The Children’s Museum in Boston. She is also honored to have been featured in many books over the years on paper art and paper casting.
