Landscapes

Here is my first public effort to present my work. After painting in acrylic and oils, I've settled on pastels as my favorite medium. I use photos from trips as references since it is important to me to have a personal connection to what I paint. I'm working at painting from nature, en plein air, and hope to include these paintings soon. As an avid environmentalist, I want to show the beauty of nature and hope the viewer enjoys my interpretation.
