I have been painting as a form of self expression since I was a toddler. With two paintings exhibited at the age of 3 at the Ben Uri Gallery in London, I knew that my life would only unfold with creativity interwoven within each breath. Winning art prizes at my schools I was the 'art kid' and had designs and paintings bought from me as a teenager. After studying at Central Saint Martins, I worked in various commercially creative fields - painting murals in nightclubs, designing magazines, club flyers and band logos , taking photographs for the fashion section of Independent Newspaper, and styling bands such as Two Unlimited for their video 'No Limits'. Ultimately with a need to be financially independent and secure, whilst creatively challenged, I worked as an Art Director full time in advertising where I could write, style, draw and art direct shoots, whilst painting in my spare time. In 2000, I secured an art studio at the Jackson Art Center in Washington, DC, and picking up my brushes full time, have never looked back.
