E.Marston was born outside the city of Boston and was relocated to the suburbs of Atlanta at the age of 9 then moving into the city at 22. He quickly got to work and he and a fellow artist started a series of shows entitled This Is Us Vs. allowing them to show with other artists they respected and wanted to work with. This quickly lead to other shows and collaboration work outside this circle and his medium. The influences from his education in architecture and animation are visible in full force in almost all of his work, from gestural figures to carefully drafted and laid out work. While in Atlanta he became interested in the idea of the perfect body as presented in the media and ways that he could break that down. Shortly after that after being taken back by the scale and quality of Atlantas street art scene, a second persona was created inside him with the idea of giving the cities inhabitants a chance of viewing art and to acquire it in a place well outside of the normal context. The two persona eventually became one and both ideas have merged to create his latest work. While aggressively questioning and often attacking the normal idea of beauty, the viewer is met with pleasing color and careless figures and often lead to question there response to the work. He has recently moved to Los Angeles where he works with Dietch Arts Co-op helping to expand the LA art scene and his creativity.
