Description

With this unique design of vase, I alter a globe of porcelain when it is still very soft, creating the folds and asymmetry you see in this quiet piece. Fired twice by the Tin Man, there is a dusting of ash on the upper surfaces, and a toasty warmth on the downwind side. Fully functional piece includes a cylinder to hold stems upright and a drainage hole for cleaning.
