Taking my skill at the wheel as a starting point for sculptural work, I am pleased to offer large bottle and vase forms that exhibit minimal lines closer to the scale of the human body. This porcelain bottle I love like the one on my profile picture, and it just didn\'t really sing until I decided to risk breaking it by firing it twice. Now it sings: vivid markings, jewel-like ash and soda, and curious shadow marks where I placed a shell in the notch on its side. 20 lbs. Celadon interior. many more images available.
