Using a copper-sulfate bath with aluminum plate presents many challenges and surprises. One thing I like to do is work with the plate in the bath--breakdowns and imperfections in this relatively new technique give the work interest. This piece is traditional black and white. The use of a creamy-french black ink helps me get the darks for a dramatic light and dark image. The subject: the cat in it's own mysterious world.
