I have created several free-hanging paper pieces which depict the fearless mythological warrior, Zhong Kui, celebrated throughout China for his heroic feats of ghost killing. He derives greater strength and validity from the designer logos embellishing his sword and his fan. These drawings highlight the Chinese ability to foist fakes on an unsuspecting audience, in an age where fashion counts for everything. Drawing is mounted on silk.
