I really like how this work resulted… it gives me a feeling of the great paintings by Elisabeth Peyton, all that intense red, the roughness and vibrancy of the brushwork. Moreover I like the turnover of the symbolism of Little red hiding hood, from innocent a bit stupid kid to tempting Lolita who knows exactly what is offering you. This work is part of the Fairytales series. A body of works that give a different view on some all time classics.
