Description

The combination of modern and primitive styles are united in this acrylic painting. The use of shadowing and perspective is kept to a minimum and the features are slightly skewed. The lightly textured background, which is achieved with a thin layer of gel medium on top of the support surface, also adds a slight distortion to the image. The over all effect is very recognizable, but not exactly realistic. This peice would be a nice addition to any home. No doubt, for some buyers, it will reflect their own dysfunctional family.
